The American company Ossia, founded by physicist and businessman Hatem Zane, has made a major breakthrough in wireless technology for charging mobile devices. This was announced by the head of the company during his speech at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference.
At the TechCrunch Disrupt conference, Ossia showcased its latest development, the fully wireless charger, which operates over a range of meters. The charging adapter, allegedly, allows you to transmit a 1 W electric charge using special antennas at a distance of up to 10 meters, and the walls do not interfere with charging. Interestingly, the charging transmitters operate at the frequencies of the Wi-Fi wireless interface.
The company intends to start mass production of wireless charging adapters in 2015. They will be presented in various colors and will allow you to simultaneously charge up to several dozen mobile gadgets.
