Google launches free browser-based music sequencer

Chrome Music Lab has launched a new music creation tool - Song Maker. This is a sequencer that allows you to program loops for two different (optional) instruments, saving the resulting song and then passing it on to someone for further joint processing.

The sequencer consists of two sections - the main (large) one, which is responsible for the melody and the lower one, which is used for the rhythm. The user has the ability to choose between several music options in each section, and then combine them as they see fit using the mouse or keyboard.

In addition to the main interface, there are many possibilities for customizing the selected melody. You can adjust the tempo with the slider, set the octave range, the number of beats per measure, and more. Overall, Song Maker provides a good opportunity to experiment with music.
