Acer Liquid S2 is the world's first 4K camera smartphone

On the eve of the Taiwanese company Acer held a presentation in Berlin, which officially announced a new smartphone. A distinctive feature of the novelty, dubbed Acer Liquid S2, is the main camera with support for 4K (Ultra HD) video recording.

The new Acer Liquid S2 smartphone is equipped with a 6-inch touchscreen display with a working resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is protected by durable Gorilla Glass 3.0. The "heart" of the novelty is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip, which includes four cores with a frequency of 2.2 GHz. Also, the device is equipped with 2 GB of internal memory, 16 GB of built-in, 2-megapixel front camera and support for 3G / 4G HSPA + / LTE, A-GPS + GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. Autonomous operation of the device is provided by a built-in rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3300 mAh.

As already mentioned, the "highlight" of the novelty is the main camera with a 13-megapixel BSI sensor, a circular LED flash and a wide-angle lens. It allows you to shoot photos and videos with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels (Ultra HD or 4K).

The mobile operating system Android 4.2.2 is used as a software platform.

Sales of the new Acer Liquid S2 smartphone will start at the end of October this year. It will be available in black and red.
