The third generation of compact silent computers from MSI has been replenished with two new models Cubi 3 Silent and Cubi 3 Silent S. There is no information about their price and the beginning of sales, only technical characteristics. They are designed to work out of sight of the client, either under the table or behind the wall - the necessary fasteners are included with the product.
The heart of the computers are chips based on Intel Kaby Lake, for which a lightweight aluminum case with dimensions of 160 × 70 × 110 mm is designed. The entire top cover is a radiator - heat is removed passively and continuously. According to the assurances of MSI engineers, this minimizes the risks of processor overheating, compared to a system that depends on the operation of a cooler.
Both models are equipped with NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD solid-state drives and support DDR4 - the user is free to easily unscrew 4 screws from the bottom and replace both the drive and memory sticks with a total capacity of up to 32 GB. Integrated graphics, Intel HD, and allows you to connect your computer via HDMI to a monitor with support for 4K UHD.
The difference between the two computer models is in the set of external interfaces. Cubi 3 Silent has four USB 3.1, DisplayPort and one Ethernet connection, as well as dual-band Wi-Fi. The Cubi 3 Silent S model is additionally equipped with IO, two more USB, an additional RJ45 connector and support for Gigabit LAN. Both computers are designed in black and white.
