Kyocera introduced ultra-thin speakers

The Japanese company Kyocera has officially unveiled its new development - ultra-thin loudspeakers. They are expected to be used in tablets, smartphones, computers, laptops and TVs.

The new speakers are named Smart Sonic Sound. They consist of a piezoelectric actuator and a special thin film. The speakers are equipped with Smart Sonic Sound, thanks to which they can reproduce a variety of audio effects with high quality and clarity.

Smart Sonic Sound is available in three different sizes. The dimensions of the first, largest, sound panel are 70 x 110 x 1.5 mm, and the weight is 23 g. The range of its reproducible frequencies ranges from 200 to 20, 000 Hz. The middle panel measures 35 x 65 x 1.0 mm and weighs 7 g. Its frequency range is 500–20, 000 Hz. But the smallest speaker, measuring 19.6 x 27.5 x 0.7 mm and weighing 1 g, operates at frequencies from 600 to 20, 000 Hz.

The manufacturer notes that these speakers are already used in 55-inch curved TVs LG Electronics, which we have already talked about more than once.
