Recently, the first music systems began to appear, creating a kind of sound bubble around each passenger of the car - such developments, for example, have already been presented by Harman and Hyundai-Kia.
At CES 2018, Israeli startup Novetto showcased My Virtual Headphones technology. The principle of its operation is as follows. Special sensors track the position of the listener's head, after which the original signals of the car music system are sent to the Novetto processors, which process them. The transducers then wirelessly send the sound directly to the ears of the music lover.
With the aim of commercializing its product, Novetto entered into a contract with the Spanish automaker SEAT to truly demonstrate the value of its technology. So, for example, children, being in the back seat, will be able to listen to their favorite tunes, while the driver will be absorbed in navigation and control, and sitting next to him will be immersed in a podcast or reading an audiobook. At the same time, no one, of course, will interfere with each other.
