LG launches PuriCare, an innovative protective air purifier

LG has introduced an innovative face mask, which is positioned as the best respiratory protection against infection by pathogenic microflora. This is achieved due to the abundance of mechanisms and devices inside the mask. In fact, we are talking about an individual multifunctional air purifier for a new, covid reality.

The full name of the product is "LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier", it is made in the format of a face mask, and is a platform for installing various filters. By default, the mask contains two H13 HEPA filters, which trap 99.95% of all bacteria, germs, allergens and dust particles. Breathing through them is not easy, so the mask is equipped with fans to circulate filtered air.

Fans need an energy source - the mask comes with an 820 mAh battery. With a constant load, the charge will last only two hours, but in economy mode, you can wear the mask for up to eight hours. To control the operation of the fans, a respiration sensor is provided, which can set one of three speeds of their rotation. All modules are removable for easy cleaning and upgrading.

An added bonus is that the LG PuriCare case contains UV lamps to decontaminate the mask, plus a dehumidification system to remove accumulated moisture. With the LG ThinQ app, you can monitor the wear and dirtiness of all modules so that they can be replaced in a timely manner. All parts of the mask are stated to be recyclable. Unfortunately, nothing is known about the cost of the product.
