GPD Win Max is the world's smallest gaming laptop

The Chinese company Shenzhen GPD Technology (Hong Kong), which specializes in creating ultra-miniature gaming PCs, has introduced the Win Max console.

Compared to its predecessors, Win Max has a number of noticeable advantages: its surface is smoother, instead of large colored buttons with inscriptions, the developers proposed black keys with engraved colored letters with backlighting. The micro-laptop console also has a small touchpad, a pair of joysticks, and buttons for gaming.

A gap has appeared between the display and the keyboard, giving the gadget a more modern look. Dimensions GPD Win Max 207 x 145 x 26 mm, weight 790 grams. It is equipped with an 8-inch IPS touchscreen with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The basis of Win Max is a quad-core Intel i5-1035G7 processor based on Ice Lake. RAM - 16 GB, plus 512 GB in the form of NVME SSD-drive. The power source is a 57 Wh battery.

Thanks to its hardware, GPD Win Max is capable of providing most modern games with frame rates over 50 FPS. The console has several connection ports: Thubderbolt 3, USB Type-C, 2 × USB 3.1 Type-A, HDMI 2.0b with 4K 60fps support, RJ45 and microSDXC.

The production model is priced at $ 750.
