A San Francisco restaurant uses an iPad as a plate

Restaurant owners don't go to any lengths to attract potential customers. One of them, the owner of the popular San Francisco restaurant Quince, Michael Tusk, together with chef Richie Nikano, decided to use ... iPad as a plate to attract a young advanced clientele.

The dish of white truffles served at the table bears the intriguing title of "Dog in Search of Gold". Those who ordered it while eating will be able to observe on the display the process of the dogs hunting for truffles. In this case, the food will not be on the screen itself, but on a special transparent case, inside which the iPad is located. The case was designed by local carpenter Luca Bartels.

As expected, after each meal, the "plate" is thoroughly cleaned.
