Samsung introduced a new camera on Android

The day before the release of the new digital camera Galaxy Camera 2 from Samsung took place. It replaces last year's Samsung Galaxy Camera.

The novelty, like its predecessor, operates under the Android operating system. True, now instead of Android 4.1, a more recent version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is announced. The camera has a 4.8-inch HD touchscreen display, a 16.3-megapixel CMOS sensor, flash and a 21x optical zoom lens. It also provides support for Wi-Fi (a / b / g / n), Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC and GPS / GLONASS.

For the "basis" of the new digital compact from Samsung was taken a quad-core 1, 6-gigahertz processor with 2 GB of RAM. It also provides 8 GB of internal memory, however, the user has only 2, 8 GB available for storing content. The memory can be expanded by another 64 GB due to microSD cards. The 2, 000mAh rechargeable battery, according to Samsung, will allow you to take up to 350 pictures on a single charge.

The presentation of the novelty will take place within the framework of the CES 2014 exhibition, which will begin its work on January 7 in Las Vegas. At the same time, the price and timing of the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 on the market is expected to be announced.
